Using of movement games in handball training for children.

Title: The use of movement games in the handball training for children Objectives: The aim of thesis is to find out how movement games are used in the training of children and youth in our country - with what aim and for what purpose coaches choose them. Specify the principles and criteria of their use in handball training. Find out what are the different states of movement games in the Czech Handball Federation. Methods: For the preparation of the bachelor thesis an anonymous questionnaire was created for handball coaches in the category of pre-school, mini-players and younger players. The questionnaire was extended by the regional coaches and managers of the Czech Handball Federation to the individual teams. Results: The use of movement games in the training of younger pupils is sufficient according to the General Concept of the Methodology. The use of movement games is not sufficient in the pre-school and mini-junior categories. From the result it can be concluded that there is a lack of theoretical knowledge among the coaches of these categories. Title of work: Minihandball on the primary school Author of the work: Tereza Karellová Head of the work: PaeDr. Ladislav Pokorný Abstract: The bachelor thesis is focused on comparing the movement level and handbal skills of children from minihandball section of Sokol Kostelec nad Labem and children from the primary school Terezy Stolzové in Kostelec nad Labem. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part we can find handbal and minihandball rules, developement of children in younger school age, characteristics of physical abilities, physical education and methodology of minihandball. Pratical part is about the interpretation of the results obtained during testing of the movement level of children. The test battery is consisted of tests verifying the movement level and handball skills. In addition the practical part includes proposed model of minihandball training for the primary school Terezy Stolzové in Kostelec nad Labem and comparing results from the first and final testing of movement level. The bachelor thesis is suitable for physical education teachers on the primary school, but also it can be useful for coaches of minihandball.
